This is a simple sauce that goes with chicken or fish, but I personally think it goes best with white flaky fish. Make sure you fresh dill instead of dried dill.

Use this sauce on Baked Halibut served with a side of Greens, like swiss chard, dandelions, or chicory.

This lemon dill sauce goes mostly on fish, however, you could use it on chicken.

Equipment

  • Saucepan

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 Tbsp butter

  • 2 Tbsp fresh dill, chopped

  • ½ cup white win

  • ½ cup heavy cream

Instructions

Add all ingredients to the sauce pan.

Boil for 15 minutes or until reduced.

Add 1/8 teaspoon of Xanthum gum and cook for 1 more minute. Let it cool for 5 minutes.

Notes

You can make this ahead and store it in a thermos until time to serve.
